Spring '22 Event
Helping Refugees

We were thrilled to be able to gather in person again with our members at the Atwater Club.  Our theme was Helping Refugees.  We heard from the Welcome Collective, the Afghan Women's Centre and  Montreal City Mission; three non-profits helping newly arrived refugees in Montreal to start anew.  Our membership voted to donate our collective donation of $17 230 to the Welcome Collective. Our funds will be used to provide essentials to newly arriving families who need the very basics.

Autumn '22 Event
Fighting Poverty

Our theme for our September Event was Fighting Poverty.  We heard from 3 wonderful charities: On our Own, Tyndale St-Georges Community Cenre and Je Passe Partout.  The membership voted and the lucky recipient of our $16 720 donation was On Our Own, an organization providing affordable housing and supportive program to help vulnerable young families. 

Winter '22 Event
From the Heart

It may have been a cold February evening but our hearts were warm!  The room was filled with familiar faces, new members and friends. Our theme was "From the Heart"- charities our members cared deeply about. We heard from 3 amazing charities:  Batshaw Foundation,  LOVE and Amal Center for Women. The members voted and the Amal Center for Women was the elected recipient of our donation! Our amazing membership raised $16 400!  

Winter'21 Event
Kids & Teens

Our February event was virtual due to another COVID-19 wave.  We streamed the event from the beautiful Atwater Club.  We heard from 3 wonderful charities supporting Kids & Teens: Pour 3 Points, Gender Creative Kids and Le Phare.  The membership voted and Pour 3 Points, an organization supporting underprivileged youth by training sports coaches, was the elected recipient of our $17 000 donation. 

Autumn '21 Event
Mental Health Matters

With COVID-19 restrictions relaxing, we were able to have our first hybrid event and it was a success! With members in person at the Segal Centre as well as many on-line,  we heard from 3 worthy charities supporting Mental Health in Montreal: Yellow Door, Douglas Foundation and AMI- Quebec.  Our membership voted to donate our collective donation of $15 330 to the Yellow Door, a local non profit helping to break social isolation across all generations of Montrealers.

Inaugural Spring '21 Event
Empowering Women

Our inaugural event was virtual due to COVID-19 restrictions. Despite launching amidst the pandemic, we had nearly 100 members in attendance on zoom. Our first social cause: Empowering Women. We heard from our 3 deserving charity finalists: The Native Women's Shelter, Pavillon Patricia Mackenzie and Pavillon Marguerite de Champlain. Our membership elected to donate our collective donation of $14 500 to Pavillon Marguerite de Champlain, a women's shelter on the southshore supporting women and children who are fleeing domestic violence.
