It was another wonderful event with our members coming together at the Atwater Club to support local non-profits working to STOP Gender- Based Violence in our community.  We learned about the impactful work of our finalists, each addressing the problem from a different angle: portraitX (prevention), Shelter Movers (support) and Auberge Transition (shelter). 

 

Ultimately, our members voted and Auberge Transition was the elected recipient of our collective donation of our collective donation of $16 000.  Thanks to our corporate sponsors, each of our runner up charities also received donations. We beat our previous record with our total donation to the 3 charities of 

$24 725.
